Hey you! I’m psyched that you’re here. I don’t believe in coincidences, only God incidences…so if you’re reading this, there’s a reason you found me. Maybe it’s for friendship, maybe it’s for business building support, or maybe it’s just for you to see a hot mess up close and personal so that you can stop beating yourself up for not always having it all together.
Because while I strive to keep my messages empowering, I refuse to hide the mess that creates them!
I wish we could be having a conversation over a cup of dark roast coffee, piping hot and totally black, so that there would be less me and more you. As a contemplative and analytical introvert, I love the listening side of conversations… the side that allows me to see, hear, and understand the mess that makes up the person in front of me. And don’t let the word mess scare you; there isn’t one person among us who hasn’t walked through fire, no matter how good at selfie angles they are! Plus, for the sake of honesty, it’s always nice to know that you’re not the only jacked up Jesus girl in the world, am I right?
All About Me
I am a messy, broken, wildly imperfect Jesus freak with a passion for inspiring women to live out the call God has on their lives in a community of transparency and belonging. I am married to the love of my life, Travis, and together we parent two precious girls, Raegan Rose and Finnley Faith. Despite the fact that God has entrusted these people to my care, I basically lack all of the domestic skills that would probably make fulfilling these most important roles a little bit easier. God bless them for loving me anyways!
I have dedicated the past four years to studying spiritual and personal growth, with an emphasis on self-awareness and acceptance, and will be a certified Christian Life Coach by the end of the year 2018. Currently, I am obeying God’s call on my life by writing this blog, preparing to write a book, and acting as an encourager through the counseling center at my home church.
It is my heart that through my vulnerability on social media, and God’s ability to transform any past into a purpose, more women would be moved to drop the filters (except for the ones that make our pictures look oh-so-pretty), eradicate any shame, and begin boldly claiming and declaring the unique individuality that God so carefully designed!
Enough About Me
Exodus 3:11, “But Moses said to God, ‘Who am I, that I should go…?'”
Exodus 3:12, “And God said, ‘I will be with you.'”
These verses are the precepts to my business and life.
It is my prayer that you come here not to follow me, but to more closely follow Him.
Because it’s not who I am, it’s who He is.
And by knowing who He is, it’s who that makes you.
